Reception

The Allmusic review by Ron Wynn awarded the album 3 stars stating "Superior cello playing by David Darling, a brilliant stylist who's not strictly, or even mainly, a jazz player. But he's an improviser, and his bowed and plucked solos are often astonishing in their clarity, depth, speed, and construction. He's also benefited by ECM's always-excellent production and mastering".[2]

Personnel

gollark: > Seeing as abby isn't on, the beginners mistake is starting using it.That is heresy. Rust good.
gollark: I'm *technically* a contributor too! Although only on relatively meaningless small changes to the ROM!
gollark: > Probably you need Phillips screwdrivers for Phillips screws, all these "standards" are made to take share of market.Aren't Philips heads just a + or something? Screwdrivers for those are very cheap and widely available.
gollark: Why would you convert stuff with *newer* codecs to H.264?
gollark: Isn't GPU-based encoding somewhat low quality?
