Cecilia Pérez (triathlete)
She has qualified for the 2016 Olympics.[1] Her presence will help establish a Mexican record for qualifier in triathlon at the Olympics.[2] She was a late entry for the Olympics after several athletes chose not to compete and it was a bit of a surprise for her to qualify as she was focused on qualifying for the 2020 Olympics,[3] and she finished 33rd.[4]
