Carpus Loveland

Carpus Loveland was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly during the 1870 session.[1] Later, he was an unsuccessful candidate for the Assembly in 1873, losing to Michael Johnson. Other positions he held include member of the Dane County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors. Loveland was a Republican. His son, A. R. Loveland, would become Postmaster of Oregon, Wisconsin.[2]
