Byron O. House

Byron O. House (September 27, 1902 September 27, 1969) was an American jurist.

Born in Saint Louis, Missouri, House lived in Nashville, Illinois. House received his law degree from University of Illinois College of Law and practiced law in Nashville, Illinois. He served as state's attorney and as Illinois Circuit Court judge for Washington County, Illinois. House was a Republican From 1957 until his death in 1969, House served on the Illinois Supreme Court and was chief justice of the court. House died in a hospital in Belleville, Illinois after undergoing emergency abdominal surgery.[1][2]
