Cultivar | 'Miss Virie' |
Origin | US |
Description
'Miss Virie' has a smaller stature than the species, growing to a height of 1.5 m in US trials. The purple-violet inflorescences are typical of the species in all but scale. However, all of the cultivars remain aggressive colonizers, capable of producing innumerable root suckers. [1]
Cultivation
Examples of all the cultivars were sent to the Longstock Park Nursery in the UK by the Bernheim Arboretum for assessment, but only 'Miss Virie' survives (2012). There are no plans to release the cultivar to the UK market. [2] B. lindleyana and its cultivars are not fully hardy; USDA zones 7–9.[1]

gollark: Unfortunately, video needs waaaay higher bitrate to be stored reasonably. The 8MB shrek thing is very poor quality.
gollark: Simply don't buy them, as they're bad.
gollark: 92 days of music at a reasonable (for listening, not archiving) bitrate of 128kbps.
gollark: You can buy 128GB micro-SD cards. That can store basically all the music you want.
