Buddleja davidii 'Southcombe Splendour' is a cultivar selected and introduced to commerce by Trevor Wood of the Southcombe Gardens, Widecombe in the Moor, Devon. [1]

Description

'Southcombe Splendour' has an open, semi-lax habit and grows to a height of < 2.1 m. The pale violet blue panicles, 1520 cm long, are complemented by silver-grey foliage which has a pale golden hue on the upper growths. [2]

Cultivation

'Southcombe Splendour' is only in cultivation in the UK.[1] A specimen is grown as part of the NCCPG national buddleja collection held by Longstock Park Nursery, near Stockbridge in Hampshire. [2]

gollark: Some tests are apparently okay. But I would be fine with a doctor who didn't do well on standardized testing but did fine otherwise.
gollark: It's not as if standardized tests are a perfect way to judge knowledge. Like much of schooling they do not test understanding a lot of the time.
gollark: And the curfew thing is mostly irrelevant since people and seemingly much of the dramatic things were there before the curfewing happened.
gollark: Yes, I think people were mostly unhappy about the whole "armed insurrection on/against government building" situation.
gollark: I don't think they should be reasonably expected to risk their lives, unless paid much more.
