Buddleja 'Hotblackiana'

Buddleja 'Hotblackiana' was derived from a rare, possibly unique, crossing of B. davidii var. veitchiana with B. forrestii by Herbert Seymour Hotblack, of Deake's Manor, Cuckfield, Sussex, England, and exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show of 1952. [1][2]

Description

'Hotblackiana' produced panicles of dark lilac flowers with yellowish-brown eyes. [1]

Cultivation

'Hotblackiana' is not known to have been cultivated beyond the UK, and may no longer survive.
