Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy

Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh.[1] He represented Darsi constituency in the 13th assembly term from Indian National Congress party. After he joined YSRCP Party in 2014. But he lost Darsi constituency. In 2019 He could not contest In elections Because Family Problems. He studied In B.V subbayya school in pernamitta. Prior to joining politics he was an ophthalmologist.

Early life

Siva Prasad Reddy was born to Buchepalli Subbareddy (a former MLA – 2004 to 2009) and Venkayamma on 6 April 1980 in Chimakurthy, Prakasam district. He did his schooling from B.V. Subbaiah school. Later he moved to Chennai to complete his MBBS course in Rama Chandra Medical college in 2004 where he specialized in ophthalmology.

Political career

He entered politics and won the Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) of Chimakurthy in August 2005 and served as Mandal Parisath President.

Later, he contested as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Darsi constituency from Indian National Congress against YSR Congress Party candidate Mannam Venkata Ramana,[2] and won the election.

He contested from YSR Congress Party in 2014 and lost the election to Sidda Raghava Rao.[3]

Reddy did not contest in 2019 elections and extended his support for the party candidates suggested from his chief Jagan in Darsi and Santhanuthalapadu constituency and played a pivotal role in their winning.[4]
