Brockport Central School District

The Brockport Central School District is a public school district in New York State that, as of the 2018–19 school year, serves 3,362 students in grades prekindergarten through twelve[1] in the village of Brockport and portions of the towns of Clarkson, Hamlin, Ogden, Parma and Sweden in Monroe County, and a small portion of the town of Clarendon in Orleans County, with over 800 employees and an operating budget of $62 million (~$14,351 per student).[2]

Class sizes average between 19 and 26 students and the student-teacher ratio is 15:1 (elementary), 13:1 (middle-high school).[2]

Sean Bruno is the Superintendent of Schools. James C. Fallon was the superintendent until 2008, and was the interim superintendent from January to July 2020. Garry F. Stone was superintendent until 2012, while Dr. Lesli C. Myers-Small, Ed.D. was the superintendent until 2020.

The district is one of the oldest centralized districts in New York State.

Elementary schools

Middle school

  • Oliver Middle School (6-8), Principal – Jerrod D. Roberts (Team Nu), Assistant Principals - Rebecca Tibbitts (Grade 7, Teams 6-1 Alpha, 6-2 Beta and Zeta) and Michelle Guerrieri (Grade 8 and Teams 6-3 Gamma, 6-4 Omicron and 6-5 Epsilon). (Note: The grade 7 teams are 7-1 Kappa, 7-2 Theta and 7-3 Delta, the grade 8 teams are 8-1 Lambda, 8-2 Sigma and 8-3 Delta, and Teams Zeta and Nu are for 12:1 special education.)
