Broadway Television Theatre

Broadway Television Theatre is a one-hour syndicated television anthology series produced by WOR-TV in New York City. The series premiered April 14, 1952 and ran for 73 episodes through 1954.[1]

Production background

All the episodes were abridged adaptations of Broadway shows and were shot on 35mm film.[2] Its stars included Christopher Plummer, Veronica Lake, Sylvia Sidney, Signe Hasso, Roddy McDowall, Jack Warden, Ruth Warrick, Constance Bennett, Lee Grant, and Bonita Granville.
