Biography

Brennah Black was born on October 9, 1995, in Missouri City, Texas. She is a Native American, member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.[1] Since a young age, she was a competitive cheerleader and dancer, and at age 11, Black was scouted by Page Parks Modeling Agency in Houston as a plus-size model where she booked modeling and acting work for major department stores and national commercials.[2] She studied Broadcast Journalism in the University of Texas at Austin. John Resig, the co-founder of The Chive, an entertainment news media outlet, noticed Brennah’s Instagram, where she shares her photos and videos. Black became a Chivette and later, an internet sensation when her photos went viral from The Chive’s Daily Afternoon Randomness gallery. In 2016, Brennah became the national sideline reporter for NBC’s Legends Football League, which makes her move to Los Angeles, California.[3]

As a model, she worked for many important clients, such as Guess, Honey Birdette, Ryan and Walter, Yandy.com, Sephora, Murad, Free People, and Bellami Hair. Also, Black has been featured in Treats!, Playboy, Esquire, and Maxim.[4] In 2019, she landed the cover of Playboy Mexico.[5]

As an actress, she played Claire on the Fuse TV show Sugar and Toys,[6] and also performed in the segment "Drukija Contessa of Blood" in Glenn Danzig’s Verotika.[7]
