Brandon Scott (actor)

Brandon O'Neil Scott (born July 30, 1981) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Ryan Spalding in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy, Nick Prager in the Netflix original series Dead to Me (2019-present)[1], Officer Luke Vanczyk and Tom Hodgson in the third and fourth seasons of the Syfy anthology horror series Channel Zero and as Cory Lawrence in the NBC series This Is Us (2019-present).

Early life

Scott was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the youngest of three children. He graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts with a degree of acting.

Career

In 2005, Scott began his acting career when he played a minor character in the short film Water.

He appeared in television shows such as Law & Order, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: NY, Masters of Sex, Futurestates, Bones and Cold Case.

He appeared in the 2012 film Knife Fight, featuring Rob Lowe, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jamie Chung, Richard Schiff and Julie Bowen. The same year, he appeared in the film Stand Up Guys, featuring Al Pacino and Christopher Walken.

He voiced Kohut in the 2012 Disney computer-animated feature film Wreck-It Ralph, and voiced and provided the motion capture of Henry in the 2013 video game The Last of Us.

From 2008 to 2009, he played the role of Ryan Spalding in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy for 15 episodes.

In 2019, he played Cory Lawrence in the NBC television series This is Us.[2]The same year, he played Officer Nick Prager in the Netflix original series Dead to Me.

Personal life

Scott met Jenn Liu in 2014; They married in 2017.
