Plot

Vishnu, Seenu, and Sundra are three friends travelling to Karwar from Bangalore to celebrate their friend Rocky's birthday. Aditi, an adventurous girl, also joins the road trip at the request of Vishnu.

During their journey, the three try to impress Aditi but have little success. Finally, the group reaches Karwar to attend Rocky's birthday party. Aditi, exhausted from the journey, leaves the party to take a nap while a drunk Sundra passes out.

Rocky enters Aditi's room and attempts to rape her. Aditi protects herself by striking Rocky with a bottle, which leaves him severely injured. After hearing the noise, Vishnu and Seenu rush in and take Rocky to the nearby government hospital.

Sundra sleeps through all of this, blissfully unaware of anything that has taken place. Meanwhile, Rocky's assistant, Koti, sees the blood and immediately informs the police. After checking on Rocky at the hospital, Koti learns that he has been placed in the ICU. With this information, Koti and his associates think Rocky is unlikely to survive his injuries and create a plan to rob Rocky's home.

The police begin to search for the suspects based on Rocky's complaint. Vishnu blames Aditi for the incident, Seenu stands with Aditi, while Sundra is still unaware of what happened. They devise a plan to send Sundra to Rocky to convince him to withdraw his complaint against the others who did not take part in the incident. Rocky does not agree with this request and the police apprehend Sundra as well as Koti and his associates.

After no news from Sundra, the three friends assume he was arrested. Sundra receives advice from a lawyer not to talk to police until he gets bailed from the court. As the three others drive towards Bangalore, they pick up an old lady at the side of the road who is looking for her grandchild. Further, into their travels, they spot a police check-post and immediately turn the vehicle on to a crossroad. The police notice them trying to escape the roadblock and race to apprehend them. After being arrested the police find out that the old lady is the grandmother of Inspector Satish. The police release them, but then re-arrest them (excluding the grandmother) based on information sent by the Karwar police station. Aditi confides in Satish what really took place and requests him to let her meet Rocky. The police agree to let Aditi meet Rocky to work things out. She makes him aware of the error of his ways and he realised that she was acting in self-defence. Rocky finally agrees to withdraw his complaint from the police. Sundra then gets released. During the conversation between the police inspector and Aditi, she reveals that she loves Seenu as he had shown respect towards women.

Reception

The Times of India gave the film a rating of three-and-a-half stars and wrote that, "The story is crisp, has a lot of fun moments and easily works in the 'timepass' movie genre."[10]

gollark: I think that's just called being charismatic.
gollark: People love having scapegoats and/or complaining about an outgroup.
gollark: I do not think globally restricting what people are allowed to *believe* is a good idea.
gollark: Er, that sounds bad.
gollark: Oh, so "isolationist" as in "no military interference", not "no interaction with other countries", that's good.
