As of 2010, the firm's applications have won several Apple Design Awards, including BoinxTV (2009 Best Mac OS X Leopard Developer Showcase[1]), FotoMagico (2008 Best Mac OS X Leopard Graphics and Media Application runner-up[2] & 2006 Best Mac OS X User Experience - Runner-up[3]) and PhotoPresenter (2006 Best Mac OS X Student Project - Runner-up[4]).
The company's live video production software BoinxTV, created in partnership with TheCodingMonkeys, is one of the winners of the Apple Design Awards 2009[5] and has received mostly positive reviews from the Macintosh community, especially among Podcasters.[6][7] Jordi Duran i Batidor of Biz-News.com reviewed BoinxTV and found it "a great application, easy to use and powerful."[8] As of 2015 BoinxTV has been rebranded as mimoLive[9][10], offering an extensive overhaul of its user interface and the introduction of a built-in RTMP video streaming solution, allowing live streaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and others. Accompanied by the change of name was the announcement of a subscription model to back up the company's plans of further developing mimoLive's feature set.[11]
Their iStopmotion Software, which aims to make stop motion animation more accessible to the average creative hobbyist, has received a generally positive review on MacLife.[12]
