Blu Hunt

Blu Hunt (born July 11, 1995) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Inadu / The Hollow in The CW supernatural drama series The Originals (2017) and as August Catawnee in the Netflix science fiction drama series Another Life (2019–present).[1][2]

Hunt made her film debut as Danielle Moonstar / Mirage in the superhero film The New Mutants (2020), which is part of the X-Men film series.[3]

Early life

Blu Hunt was born in Sacramento, California.[4] She is Native American and a descendent of the Lakota tribe.[5][6]

Career

Hunt made her acting debut in the 2015 short film One Block Away. In 2016, she had roles in the television series This Is It and Girl on Girl.

In 2017, Hunt received further recognition for her recurring role as Inadu / The Hollow in the fourth season of The CW supernatural drama series The Originals.[2]

Since 2019, Hunt has starred as August Catawnee, the lead engineer and youngest member of the crew aboard the spaceship Salvare, in the Netflix science fiction drama series Another Life.[1]

In 2019, Hunt guest starred in the ABC crime drama series Stumptown. In 2020, she guest starred in the Disney Channel family comedy series Bunk'd.

Hunt is set to make her feature film debut as Danielle Moonstar / Mirage in the superhero horror film The New Mutants, which is part of the X-Men film series.[3] The film was originally intended for release in April 2018, but suffered several delays. It is scheduled for release on August 28, 2020.[7]
