The length of the forewings is 4.5–5.1 millimetres (0.18–0.20 in). The forewings are pale brown intermixed with dark brown and white scales. The hindwings are pale greyish brown.[1]

Etymology

The species is named in honour of C. Murray Adams and Lucy G. Adams.
