Billy Middleton

William Middleton was an English professional football forward who made over 280 appearances in the Scottish League for Ayr United, Aberdeen and Dumbarton.[2][3] He also played in the Football League for Southend United.[1]

Personal life

Middleton fought with the 17th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) during the First World War.[4]
