Bethan Wright

Bethan Wright (born 30 January 1996) is an English actress and model. She is known for portraying the roles of Chloe in the CBBC series Dixi, and Danielle Clark in the Disney Channel musical drama The Lodge.[2]

Early life

Wright was born in Northampton, and enjoyed activities such as horse-riding and skiing whilst growing up.[3] At the age of 4, she started taking ballet and tap classes, and took part in various talent shows.[4][5] Realising she enjoyed the arts, Wright relocated to London so that she could study acting and singing at Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Career

Modelling

Wright's career began in modelling, featuring in adverts for companies such as Clarks, Canon, and Philadelphia. She was also featured in a marketing campaign for Marks & Spencer.[6] She later became the face of Pretty Polly's sleepwear and lingerie collection.[7]

Acting

Wright made her television debut in Dixi, playing the main role of Chloe from 2014 to 2016.[2] She later had minor roles in two feature films, Breakdown and Between Two Worlds.[8] In 2016, Wright was cast in Disney Channel musical drama The Lodge, as Danielle Clark.[9][10] She starred in 25 episodes, and was featured on the soundtracks. In 2019, Wright began having a recurring voice role in Disney Channel cartoon 101 Dalmatian Street, voicing the role of Prunella Pug.[11]
