Benjamin van Leer

Benjamin van Leer (born 9 April 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He is under contract with Ajax in the Eredivisie, but is not registered in their 2019–20 season squad. He formerly played for Jong PSV and Roda JC Kerkrade.

Career

In June 2017, van Leer joined Ajax on a four-year contract from Roda JC Kerkrade. The transfer fee paid to Kerkrade was reported as €700,000.[1]

Personal life

Born in Houten, Netherlands, Van Leer is of Moluccan descent. He is dating Netherlands female football player Lieke Martens.[2]
