Belzer (/ˈbɛlzər/ or /ˈbɛltsər/), or Beltzer /ˈbɛltsər/, is a Yiddish surname. It derives from the adjectival form of Belz (Yiddish: בעלזא, Galicia) or Bălți (Bessarabia), both shtetlekh. It can mean adjective form, or a member of the Belzer Hasidim.
