Bellevue is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. Close to the Johannesburg CBD with the suburb is surrounded by Yeoville and Observatory. It is located in Region F of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.

History
The suburb is situated on part of an old Witwatersrand farm called Doornfontein.[2] It was established in 1890 and is either named after the land developer Bellevue Township Syndicate or the view of the city to the west and view to the Magaliesberg mountain range in the north.[2]
