Bajestan
Bajestan (Persian: بجستان, also Romanized as Bajestān and Bejestān; also known as Bījestān and Bījistān)[2] is a city and capital of Bajestan County, in Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,136, in 3,090 families.[3]

The most important products of Bajestan are saffron[4] and pomegranate.
The city has a dry climate with significant difference between day and night temperatures. It is a fast-growing city, thus becoming one of the major centres in the south of Razavi Khorasan.
