Biography

Shree Ganeshaya Namah

Ganesha says that though it may be true that Bejan Daruwalla is one of the 100 great astrologers in the last 1000 years and is perhaps the only one who has read the fortune of 3 Prime Ministers of India namely Moorarji Desai, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi. This Ganesha devotee at 88 believes that goodness and compassion are much more important and certainly universal. He now believes in keeping a very low profile and tries to bless all people sincerely and with all the limited power that he has. In other words in the wide wide world there is no substitute for sheer goodness. Goodness (including integrity) matters a million times more than greatness is Ganesha devotee Bejan’s final world.

A former English professor of Parsi heritage, Daruwalla was an ardent follower of Ganesha.[4][5][6]

Bejan Daruwalla died on 29 May 2020 in Ahmedabad, India. [7]After the news of his passing emerged, several media reports suggested that he had died due to COVID-19. His astrologer-son, Nastur, told The Times of India that his father had been suffering from pneumonia and lung infection, and the oxygen level in his body had dipped.[8][9][10]

Work

Daruwalla's divination practices included Numerology, Hindu astrology, Palmistry, I Ching, Tarot card reading, Kabbalah and Western astrology.[5]

Daruwalla summed up his general approach and technique of making predictions like this, "First of all, if the person is there I look at him and get vibrations. Secondly, the time the person comes is important. Thirdly, what type of day is it? Good, bad or indifferent? Fourth, lines on the palm. Fifth, the Indian horoscope and lastly, the western horoscope. So all this goes into a computer called the brain. And after that I look at Ganesha and make a prediction."[4]

gollark: Hmm. Did you *know* they were going to do that?
gollark: If limited liability was gone, investment in risky things/startups/new businesses/whatever *would* go down a lot, which I think is bad.
gollark: Not so risky that you could lose an *unknowable* amount of money.
gollark: Which probably means high premiums, which means people won't buy it and then complain when something bad happens.
gollark: Pandemic insurance which didn't run on the government strategy of "just borrow tons of money and hope it doesn't break things" would need lots of money saved.
