Reception

Jonathan Holland of Variety gave the movie a positive review saying that is "strongly scripted and well-played treat convincingly employs thriller elements to make its heavyweight agenda palatable ... Parallels between the two tales of violence and submission are not overdone. Script is content to point out that power games exist at every social level, from the local and domestic to the global, and that the two are not easily disentangled."[1]

gollark: Why are you running a public filehost site? Either nobody will use it or your thing will immediately implode with bad.
gollark: Is that such a bad thing?
gollark: Syncthing is, borgbackup could run over P2P transports fine.
gollark: <@312591385624576001> borgbackup or syncthing can do that, probably other stuff.
gollark: This is unhelpful. I mostly just arbitrarily get bored at some point on larger projects.
