Battle of Canusium (89 BC)

The Battle of Canusium was an engagement during the Social War.[1] The Roman force had won a string of victories, winning multiple sieges including one at Cannae.[1] A rebel force now engaged him in battle and he was forced to retreat, both sides suffering heavy casualties.[1]
