Barbara Fantechi
Barbara Fantechi is an Italian mathematician. Her research area is algebraic geometry. She is a professor at SISSA in Italy.

In 2018, Fantechi received the Prof. Luigi Tartufari award from the Accademia dei Lincei.[1]
Education
Fantechi received her Laurea from the University of Pisa in 1988. Her doctoral advisor was Fabrizio Catanese, after whom the Catanese surface is named.[2]
