Banco Chambers

Banco Chambers is a chamber of barristers in Sydney, Australia. The chambers was established in 2005 and the current head of chambers is Robert Newlinds SC.[1] Former members include Justin Gleeson SC, Solicitor-General of Australia.[2]

Barristers

The floor has 30 members of varying levels of seniority.[3] The members of the floor who are senior counsel are: Tom Blackburn SC, Peter Brereton SC, Andrew Coleman SC, Sandy Dawson SC, Robert Dick SC, Justin Gleeson SC, Richard McHugh SC, Cameron Moore SC, Robert Newlinds SC and Katherine Richardson SC.[3]

The chambers has been ranked in Band 1 for the Australian Bar in online magazine Chambers and Partners Guide to the World's Leading Lawyers.[4] Individual members have received recognition in the practices of Dispute Resolution,[5][6][7] Insolvency,[8][9] Competition Law,[10] Intellectual Property,[11] Construction,[12][13] and Taxation.[14][15]
