6 | Sausages | Edie comes to the nursery to remind Miss Hoolie about a trip to the farm. She is in a hurry because she has so much to do. She goes to buy some sausages and a birthday card. She is in a rush and drops things all over. She posts her card, but when she returns to her bus, she realises she had left the door open. PC Plum isn't pleased. When she gets home, she sees that her sausages are missing. She asks PC Plum to solve the mystery. He thinks a dog had taken them, but it was Edie's fault for leaving the door open. Edie takes Miss Hoolie and the children to the farm to feed the animals, and they have a lovely time. The McLeods' dog James however, isn't hungry, because he is full of Edie's sausages. | 27 September 2004 |
7 | Gospel Choir | PC Plum is organising a gospel choir performance at the nursery. But he spends so much time practicing his singing that he neglects his police work - leaving Penny to solve a mystery involving missing flowers. | 28 September 2004 |
8 | Ballet | Josie asks Miss Hoolie to help think of a ballet the children might enjoy watching her class perform. They decide on a ballet about a fairy and a box of toys who love to leap, spin and dance. Spencer helps build the scenery for the ballet and brings it to the nursery, however, they can't bring it inside without spoiling the surprise. Archie comes up with the answer - bedspread curtains. They stop everyone from peeking at the scenery or the dancers until the ballet is ready. It is a smash!

9 | Tantrums | Archie brings his new hot air balloon invention to the nursery. The children have been making chicks so he tries to use one of them for a passenger, but it's very sticky and Archie gets in a mess and pops his balloon. He becomes very angry so Miss Hoolie gives him a juice box and sends him home to calm down. At home he decides to build a tower out of yogurt pots, but it falls down and he gets angry again and he squashes his juicebox. He goes to buy another one at Pocket and Sweets but then he drops his money and gets angry again. Suzy gives him chocolate but that makes him worse. Penny helps him to breathe deeply then Josie Jump teaches him some exercises to help calm him down.

10 | Spaghetti Day | It is PC Plums birthday, and he and Miss Hoolie are going to an Italian restaurant on the mainland to celebrate. But when Edie calls PC Plum out on an emergency, he and Miss Hoolie end up missing the ferry. So she and Miss Hoolie organise an Italian restaurant in Miss Hoolie's house. Only the food is missing. So they call on Suzie to make original Italian spaghetti.

11 | Buggies and Prams | Josie is meant to be taking the mums and toddlers with their buggies and prams to soft play in the big city, but is worried that she'll get lost. | 4 October 2004 |
12 | Couch Potato | When Edie arrives she is out of puff. She has been rushing around doing jobs for Archie. She even eats all of Miss Hoolie's biscuits! Archie asks her to pick up the game he had invented. Poor Edie has to return to Archie's castle to take him out again! This time there are no biscuits. Archie gets out of puff searching for biscuits and Edie is far too tired to go to the shop. They need someone to get them back on their feet and fit! Josie tells them they need exercise and healthy food. Miss Hoolie, Archie, Edie and the children get plenty of exercise in the nursery with Josie and enjoy playing with Archie's invention. | 5 October 2004 |
13 | Horsepower | Archie tries to fix Edie's bus. Miss Hoolie and her visitors are meant to tour Balamory on Edie's bus, but it develops a problem that even Archie can't fix. | 6 October 2004 |
14 | Broken Down Bus | Edie goes missing in the snow. PC Plum goes out in the snow to find Edie before the steel band concert begins. | 7 October 2004 |

16 | The Street Party | The nursery holds a street party, but Miss Hoolie and Spencer worry that it's too cold for anyone to come. | 11 October 2004 |
17 | The Rhyme Machine | Archie invents a fantastic rhyme machine. Miss Hoolie suggests they use it to tell a story. Josie, however, suggests they use it to make a song. Spencer comes up with a tune, and then Archie and Josie host a sing-along at the nursery. Josie is very excited about testing Archie's new rhyme machine, but the duo need help putting the finishing touches to the invention.

19 | Lost Then Sorted | PC Plum is on the case when lots of things start to go missing in Balamory, but he is surprised to discover who the culprit is. As they collect boxes for the Balamory nursery. | 14 October 2004 |
20 | Whale of a Day | PC Plum has arranged to take Miss Hoolie whale-watching. Spencer makes them a whale chart so that they can tell the different types of whales apart, but PC Plum accidentally drops the smelly sandwiches on the floor. Suzie saves the day, by making up a picnic hamper for them. | 15 October 2004 |
21 | The Boat Race | Penny Pocket organises a boat race for her sailing company. She goes to Josie's, who has recently joined the sailing group. Josie is nervous and Penny makes her calm down with big shouting but it gives her a sore throat. Having to shout after the boat, she calls Archie to make some magic. He makes a paper megaphone to make Penny's voice bigger, and he sticks it beside a yoghurt pot and to Penny's wheelchair with two sticks. | 18 October 2004 |
22 | Reflections | A puddle inspires Archie to create a reflecting machine. He goes to Pocket and Sweet's to buy some things that reflect. Suzie finds lots of things, but in the end all Archie takes is a bicycle mirror, and a mop and bucket. He makes the machine, but then can't think of a game to play using it- he has promised Miss Hoolie he will use the machine to play a game with the children. 24 | Pirate Radio | PC Plum investigates strange emanations coming from his police radio, and from taps and kettles all over Balamory. Edie has accidentally turned on an old transmitter, broadcasting her singing practice. Archie is called in to solve the problem. | 21 October 2004 |
25 | Seaside Inside | It's a rainy day, so the cafe is packed with people. PC Plum cancels his bird-watching plans to do crowd control. The kids were supposed to go to the beach, so Spencer is sent to entertain them. Instead of a sing-song, Spencer has an idea to bring the seaside inside. | 22 October 2004 |

27 | Hub Caps | PC Plum finds a lot of old hub caps. He takes them to Edie, but she has a lot already, and has no room for any more. She discovers that they make a great sound when you bang them together, and suggests PC Plum take them to Spencer- he may be able to make them into a musical instrument. 31 | Otters | Josie Jump comes into the nursery to complain about litter. She thinks Pocket and Sweet are responsible, but it turns out that they are heading a "Keep Balamory Tidy" campaign.
