Bagamoyo Arts and Cultural Institute
The Bagamoyo Arts and cultural Institute (Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni Bagamoyo, TaSUBa) is a semi-autonomous governmental organisation for training, research and consultancy service in arts and culture. [1] It was established by The United Republic of Tanzania to "encourage the development of Tanzanian arts and Culture, to promote their use as a record of contemporary life and manners, to promote education about film, television and the moving image generally, and their impact on society".

History
TaSUBa has been established in accordance with the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997 and Government Notice No. 220 of November 2007. It is an
upgrading of the Bagamoyo College of Arts established in 1981.[1]
