Avery Saltzman
Avery Saltzman (born 17 June, 1956), is a Canadian actor and theater director. He is artistic director of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre. Saltzman was born and reared in Toronto.[1]
Saltzman is considered to be one of Canada's leading character actors.[2][3] Ted Pappas, artistic director of the Pittsburgh Public Theater has called Saltzman a theatrical Swiss Army knife, capable of whipping out whatever tool is necessary to communicate the nuance in any role.[4] The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette calls Saltzman "an artist capable of understanding and communicating the humanity in the most inhumane of conditions."
