Three new categories were added in 2019.[2] Winners in 2019 included classical pianist Caroline Almonte, Alice Skye, Tashi Hall, Christine Anu, Mojo Juju, and Joy McKean.[3][4] The Awards were held at the Brisbane Powerhouse.[5] Judith Durham was inducted onto the AWMA Honor Roll.
