There are currently four recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Astrocottus leprops Bolin, 1936
- Astrocottus matsubarae Katayama, 1942
- Astrocottus oyamai M. Watanabe, 1958
- Astrocottus regulus Tsuruoka, Maruyama & Yabe, 2008

gollark: I meant for searching through multiple videos, but this is potentially interesting.
gollark: I guess you'd also want to do text search on captions.
gollark: Also, as a workaround for actually processing videos with ML being hard, has anyone tried making a video search tool by using existing scene change detectors and running CLIP on frames from each scene, or something?
