Aryal

Aryal is a Nepali surname. In hinduism they are believed to be the descendant of Atreya. Aryals played an important role in the formation of Gorkha Kingdom/Present Nepal. Narayan Aryal(Raj Guru) was the person who crowned Drabya Shah as the first King of Gorkha. Varaha (Nepali: वराह) is the deity of the Aryal clan.[1] Aryals belong to the Atreya(descendant of Atri rishi) gotra.[2]
