Arjun Erigaisi

Arjun Erigaisi (born 3 September 2003)[1] is an Indian chess grandmaster. He earned the title of grandmaster at the age of 14 years, 11 months, 13 days making him the 32nd youngest person ever to achieve the title of grandmaster. He is the 5th grand master from Telugu states and 54th from India.

Chess career

Arjun is from Telangana, India.[2] He is the first grandmaster from Hanumakonda (Warangal), Telangana state. He became a grandmaster in August 2018. He was also the winner of a silver medal in 2015 Asian Youth Championship in Korea.[3]He is from Shine High School.
