Arianne Cerdeña

Arianne Cerdeña is a World Ten-pin bowling Champion from the Philippines. She won for the Philippines its first gold medal in the Summer Olympics.[1][2][3] She won the medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, though bowling was only a demonstration sport. She was elected by the World Bowling Writers female "World Bowler" in 1988.

World Championships and World Games

Cerdeña won a silver medal in Trios with Bong Coo and Lita de la Rosa in the quadrennial Fédération Internationale des Quilleurs FIQ World Championship now WTBA World Tenpin Bowling Championships in 1983 held in Caracas, Venezuela.

Cerdeña also captured two silver medals at the quadrennial World Games held at Karlsruhe, West Germany 1989, in singles and mixed doubles with Jorge Fernandez.

World Cup

Arianne Cerdeña won the 1993 Bowling World Cup Brent Peterson Country Award with Paeng Nepomuceno in Johannesburg, South Africa. She placed third in the singles event.[4]

Asian Games

Cerdeña is an Asian Games Gold Medalist. She was a member of the gold medal Team of Five with Bong Coo, Catalina Solis, Cecilia Gaffud and Rebecca Watanabe. She shared the doubles bronze medal with Bong Coo.
