Antonios Mikos

Antonios Georgios Mikos is a Greek-American biomedical engineer currently the Louis Calder Professor at Rice University.[1][2][3] He completed undergraduate study in engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and pursued a master's and doctorate at Purdue University in the United States.[4]

In 2012, Mikos was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering "for advances in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, biomaterials, and drug delivery, including development of biodegradable polymers."[5] He was named an ISI highly cited researcher in 2016.[6]
