Antonio Maffei da Volterra
Antonio Maffei da Volterra (1450 – 3 May 1478) was an Italian presbyter. Clergyman and Papal notary, he came from a noble family in Volterra.[1] With Stefano da Bagnone he tried to strangle Lorenzo de' Medici and they wounded him in the throat in the Pazzi conspiracy.[2]
