Ante Pavlović (chiropractor)
Ante Pavlović (30 August 1957 – 19 July 2020) was a Croatian chiropractor who gained notoriety during the 1990s for his treatment methods. He was also noted for his belief that he was the reincarnation of Jesus.[1]
Pavlović was born in Šurkovac in present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina. He attended a Franciscan seminary in Yugoslavia, but eventually emigrated to the United States. He returned to Croatia in 1990 and treated patients there and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, becoming notable for his method of performing chiropractic adjustment called "centring".[2]
He still has followers in Croatia.[3] Pavlović died after a short period of illness on 19 July 2020.[4]
