1988–1999

Chiranjeevi established his own production company with his brother Nagendra Babu and named it Anjana Productions after their mother Anjana Devi in 1988. Both Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu produced two films together, Rudraveena and Trinetrudu which starred Chiranjeevi as lead actor. Rudraveena won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. Then in 1994 Nagendra Babu alone produced Mugguru Monagallu in which Chiranjeevi played a triple role in lead. After that the films under Anjana Productions were produced by Nagendra Babu alone. In 1998 Anjana Productions produced Bavagaru Bagunnara? starring Chiranjeevi which became a huge hit in that year.

2000–2009

In 2000 Nagendra Babu produced Kouravudu himself playing the lead role. Later he produced Gudumba Shankar with his younger brother Pawan Kalyan in 2004 and Stalin in 2006 with his elder brother Chiranjeevi in lead. Stalin became a below average movie but it ran 50 days in 394 centers, which was the highest for any Telugu film till date.[1]

2010–present

In 2010 Nagendra Babu Produced Orange the eighth film under Anjana Productions starring his nephew Ram Charan which failed at box office and was supposedly the last film by Anjana Productions as Nagababu himself said that he wouldn't be producing movies.
