Anja Reschke

Anja Reschke (born October 7, 1972), is a German journalist and TV presenter.

Life

Reschke was born in Munich, Germany, and studied political science at the University of Munich. After a traineeship at Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), she worked as a freelance journalist for various programmes.

In 2001, she began presenting the political magazine show Panorama, and the following year began presenting the show ZAPP. She also presents Wissen vor acht.

In 2018 she won the Hanns Joachim Friedrichs Award and the Hildegard-von-Bingen-Preis für Publizistik.[1]

In 2019, Reschke was appointed director of NDR's culture and documentation area.[2] The same year, she received the Siebenpfeiffer Prize for her commitment to protecting and upholding the freedom of the press.[3]

gollark: I think being annoyed about the dropping of a standard and useful I/O feature for dubious reasons is fair.
gollark: This is true. It seems like it's a pretty easy process on Google Pixels and stuff, but due to google bad you then lose the various payment things.
gollark: I think the best way to avoid badness is to buy a reasonably popular mid-range or old high-end phone and flash LineageOS or something, although that might take up time to do too.
gollark: For me, at least, it would be *worse* than a mediocre Android phone, since it would be more annoying to use ssh/mosh to access my server when I need to fix things, and generally worse to test things on portably.
