Angelo Tsarouchas or as his friends call him ‘Angy’ was born in Montreal, Canada to Greek Immigrant parents, at an early age he always had a fascination with Comedy listening to old Jackie Mason, Redd Foxx and Rodney Dangerfield albums as his mother would yell at him to go to sleep! On a dare while in High School he performed a stand up skit at a Variety showcase and was forever hooked! Tsarouchas has since toured the world with his one man show and has appeared in numerous films and television shows, one of his most notable roles was in the cult classic film Fred and Vinnie, where he portrays the worlds largest agoraphobe, garnering him best Actor credit at the LAGFF London Film Festival.

His childhood dream was to play for the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL, and attributes a lot of his humor to his Mother, ‘ Mom was the funny storyteller in the family, Dad was funny but never realized it in his very Spartan stoic way, we would put On wrestling shows with my brother and sister, or dress her up as the goalie and shoot rubber pucks at her as a kid! A permanent resident of Los Angeles, Tsarouchas has fond memories of growing up in Canada, and living in the UK.

Personal life

Angelo married his Armenian American girlfriend, Alina Basil, on October 10, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. The couple had a child in August 2012.
