Andrew Cant (bishop)

Andrew Cant (16491730) was a clergyman of the Scottish Episcopal Church.[1]

He was educated at King's College, Aberdeen[2] and ordained in 1771. He held incumbencies in Leith and Edinburgh. He was consecrated a college bishop (i.e. a bishop without a diocese) on 17 October 1722 by Bishop John Fullarton.

He died on 21 April 1730.[3]
