Anaswara Rajan

Anaswara Rajan (8 September 2002) is an Indian actress who is known for her work in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. Her first movie was Udaharanam Sujatha(2017).[1] She made her acting debut in the Malayalam short film Globe. Anaswara gained popularity in the commercially successful Malayalam film, Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019) and Adhyarathri (2019). She along with her co-star Mathew Thomas received 22nd Asianet Film Awards 2020 Best Star Pair Award for the role of Keerthy and Jaison in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019).[2]

Early life

Anaswara Rajan was born on 8 September 2002 to Rajan Payyadakkath and Usha Rajan. She completed her 10th std at St. Mary's Girls High School, Payyanur in 2019 and doing her higher secondary at Government Higher Secondary School, Vellur, Payyanur in Kannur district, Kerala.[1]

Acting career

Anaswara made her film acting debut with Udaharanam Sujatha in 2017, as Athira Krishnan, the rebellious daughter of Manju Warrier. After playing brief roles in few other films, Anaswara played her first leading role in the 2019 film Thanneer Mathan Dinangal.[1]. Anaswara made her entry into Tamil film industry with the Trisha starrer Raangi which is scheduled to be released in 2020.[3]
