Anarsia bipinnata

Anarsia bipinnata is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1932.[1] It is found in the Russian Far East, Korea and Japan.[2]

The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are ochreous-whitish irrorated grey with a slight blackish wedge-shaped mark on the costa at one-third and an elongate blackish spot on the middle of the costa, and a similar one in the disc beneath it. There are two very small dark fuscous spots on costa beyond this, as well some undefiĀned darker grey clouding or marbling towards the apex. The hindwings are grey, posteriorly darker grey.[3]

The larvae feed on Elaeagnus multiflora, Elaeagnus umbellata, Acer ginnala and Quercus species.
