Aminath Shamila

Aminath Shamila is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Maldives women's national football team.

Shamila was a part of the Maldives side that took part in the 2015 Indian Ocean Island Games.[1] She was then part of the Maldives squad that participated in the 2016 SAFF Women's Championship. She scored the final goal for Maldives in their 5–2 victory over Sri Lanka in their first match of the tournament.[2] Shamila then scored her second goal of the tournament in Maldives' final match of the group stage against Bhutan. Her 36th-minute strike helped Maldives to a 3–1 victory and qualification to the next round.[3]
