She scored the final goal for Maldives in their 5–2 victory over Sri Lanka in their first match of the tournament.[2] Shamila then scored her second goal of the tournament in Maldives' final match of the group stage against Bhutan. Her 36th-minute strike helped Maldives to a 3–1 victory and qualification to the next round.[3]
