Alvin Jackson (historian)
Alvin Jackson is the Richard Lodge Professor of History at the University of Edinburgh. His work focuses on unionism in the history of the British Isles.[1]

gollark: It means it's returning a table, and `tostring` which I believe `print` uses internally doesn't actually print their contents.
