Alush
Alush (Hebrew: אָלוּשׁ) was one of the places, according to the Book of Numbers, the last before Rephidim, at which the Israelites rested in the Exodus on their way to Mount Sinai (Numbers 33:13, 14). Alush was the end on the ninth stage recorded by Moses in Numbers at God’s command.[1] The ninth stage is the segment from Dophkah to Alush.[2] This location has not been exactly located, yet may have been near the shore of the Red Sea. A particular event that occurred here was the story in the Exodus where water flowed from a rock.
