Cast

Production

All Is Bright was filmed in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Its name was changed from the original title of Almost Christmas[3] to All Is Bright.

The antics of the two lead characters have been suggested to be based on the amalgamation of famous misadventures of employees from North Pole Xmas Trees, a famous family business from Nashua, New Hampshire.

Reception

The film currently has a 49% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 41 reviews, with an average rating of 5.56/10. The critical consensus states: "Well-acted but uneven, All Is Bright strands a pair of strong performances from Paul Giamatti and Paul Rudd in a meandering script."[4] Metacritic reports a weighted average of 54/100 based on 15 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[5]

gollark: My server is at home and thus has worse internet connectivity than VPSes but waaay better CPU/RAM/disk.
gollark: You could send it to me and have gibson-osmarks internet radioâ„¢ exist.
gollark: It's possible that my calibrations wrt. the value of money are just a bit ridiculous, but that's a nontrivial quantity.
gollark: You could buy a low-end VPS for that much!
