Alison Carnwath
Dame Alison Jane Carnwath DBE (born January 1953) is a British businesswoman, and former chairman of Land Securities.

Early life
Alison Jane Carnwath was born in January 1953.[1] She received a bachelor's degree in economics and German from the University of Reading in 1975, and is a chartered accountant.[2]
Career
She is the chairman of Land Securities since November 2008, and a non-executive director since September 2004.[3] Carnwath is chairman of the UK private equity firm Livingbridge, a non-executive director of Zurich Insurance and Paccar, a senior advisor to Evercore Partners, and a supervisory board member and the audit committee chair of BASF.[3][2]
Honours
She was created a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2014 New Year Honours for her services to business.[4]
