  • Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Honorary Induction (1998)

Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Alice Janowski was one of the 57 players born in Canada to join the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in its twelve-year history. According to the league's data, Janowski was assigned for the Fort Wayne Daisies during its 1951 season.[1] Nevertheless, additional information is incomplete because there are no records available at the time of the request.[2]

The AAGPBL folded in 1954, but there is a permanent display at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum at Cooperstown, New York since November 5, 1988, that honors the entire league rather than any individual figure.[3] Then in 1998, Janowski and all Canadian AAGPBL players gained honorary induction into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.[4]
